Hey All,

Did anyone get more details (or photos!) on the massive Ultrafast Fibre
outage in Papamoa?

https://ultrafastfibre.statuspage.io

The fibre strike happened on Monday afternoon, the outage looks set to be
resolved tonight (more than 48 hours since the outage began) which must be
a record on the UFF network to date.

Hi folks. Multiple ducts rather comprehensively torn up by the drilling
Example photo attached for feeding of nightmares. Worst I’ve seen for quite some time.

Reminds me a lot of the horrors that are copper pairs being rejoined!

Was it a third party that drilled through this or UFF Contractor?

Well, Um yeah...
That's a true story and did happen on the UFF network when just UFF started
the UFB1 roll out...
The contractor concerned no longer does any work for UFF...
